     The Jones County Board of Supervisors welcome public input at their meetings. The public will be provided an opportunity to comment on specific agenda items during the time the item is listed on the agenda. A public comment period is provided at the end of the meeting for items not listed on the agenda.
9:00 a.m.-Janine Sulzner, Auditor
-Approve the minutes of the September 20, 2016 meeting.
-Approve payroll for period ending September 18, 2016.
-Approve a special claim for the Solid Waste Commission for a land purchase.
-Approve a special claim for the Mental Health Region for an emergency service. Tentative request.
-Approve a resolution to add a departmental appropriation for the Wapsipinicon Trail Project by temporarily decreasing the departmental appropriation for Conservation Capital Projects.
-Approve a GIS Data Agreement with the East Central Intergovernmental Association.
-Approve the liquor license renewal for L & D Reyner Inc. DBA Scooters Bar & Grill.
-Action to hire Jennifer Graham as a part-time kitchen assistant/transporter for Senior Dining.
-Action to approve a 28E Law Enforcement Communication Services contract with the City of Monticello for fiscal year 2017.
-Discuss rescheduling the November 8th Board of Supervisors' meeting to November 10th. Possible action.
-At the request of the Emergency Management Coordinator - Action to approve the first consideration of Jones County, Iowa Ordinance 2016-08, an ordinance amending Chapter 1, Jones County Flood Plain  Ordinance, of Title VI - Property & Land Use, of the Jones County Code of Ordinances.
-Possible suspension of the provisions of Iowa Code Section 331.302(6) which requires three considerations of an ordinance prior to passage.
-General update on various facility related matters. No action.
-General update on various county administrative matters, if needed. No action.
9:30 a.m.-Lisa Mootz, I.T. Coordinator - discuss data storage issues. Possible action.
9:45 a.m.-Michele Lubben, Land Use Administrator - discussion and  possible action on an ongoing nuisance complaint at 23043 County Rd E-34, Anamosa. Discuss possible nuisances at 2696 Couny Rd. X-64 Oxford Mills and other Oxford Mills properties.
10:15 a.m.-Derek Snead, Engineer
-Discussion regarding vacation of a portion of Camelot Road.
-General update on matters related to road maintenance and projects. No action.
10:30 a.m.-Janine Sulzner, Auditor - review the budget for the capital projects fund and the status of projects proposed for payment from the fund, including the Secondary Road Monticello maintenance shop, match for the proposed JETS facility, and match for JETS vans.
-Kathy Koerperich, JETS Director - discuss matching funds for the purchase of JETS vans. Possible action.
-Action to set a public hearing to amend the fiscal year 2017 county budget.
End of meeting-Discussion and possible action to develop amendments to the Center Junction Water and Sewer System agreements entered into on June 2, 2015, and to develop the associated county ordinances. 
-Various committee reports from the Board of Supervisors, including a schedule of upcoming meetings, if any.
-Items to be placed on the agenda for future Board meetings.
-Public comment period regarding items not listed on the agenda.
-Motion to adjourn.
     The agenda for the weekly Board of Supervisors' meeting is posted on the Board of Supervisors' page on the Jones County web-site:  at least 24 hours prior to the meeting.
     The deadline to submit items for the agenda is typically 2 p.m. on the Friday prior to the meeting. The agenda may be revised with at least 24 hours notice; the revised agenda will be posted and emailed in a manner similar to the original agenda.
