     The Jones County Board of Supervisors welcome public input at their meetings. The public will be provided an opportunity to comment on specific agenda items during the time the item is listed on the agenda. A public comment period is provided at the end of the meeting for items not listed on the agenda.
8:30 a.m.-Janine Sulzner, Auditor
-Approve the minutes of the February 2, 2016 meeting.
-Approve claims.
-Approve a grant agreement with Alliant Energy for a grant funded project to plant trees at the courthouse.
-Approve a contract with Anderson-Bogert to provide preliminary engineering and conceptual design services for the proposed Wapsipinicon Trail (Shaw Rd.) project for grant application purposes.
-Action to Approve GIS Data Agreement with Anderson Bogert Engineers. 
-Approve a quote for replacement of carpet in offices damaged by a recent pipe break; and to replace worn carpet in other offices.
-Possible action to terminate the garbage removal service from Republic Services for Memorial Hall in Wyoming, and replace those services with a new vendor.
-Approve a resolution granting a request from the City of Monticello to abate the property taxes on property acquired by the City of Monticello. 
-General update on various facility related matters. No action.
-General update on various county administrative matters, if needed. No action.
-Approve an agreement for ECIA to apply for a Wellmark grant on behalf of Jones County to assist with funding for proposed Wapispinicon Trail project. 
8:45 a.m.-Phil Parsons, County Attorney 
-Closed session pursuant to Iowa Code Section 21.5, subsection 1.c. (to discuss strategy with counsel in matters that are presently in litigation or where litigation is imminent where its disclosure would be likely to prejudice or disadvantage the position of the governmental body in that litigation).
-Update on discussions with ECICOG regarding proposed sharing agreements related to the proposed JETS/Secondary Road joint facility. Possible action.
-Discuss the Board's intentions regarding offering a lease for use of county owned property at  309 W. Main St., Wyoming. Possible action.
9:15 a.m.-Michele Lubben, Land Use Administrator - review items to be discussed at the February 9, 2016 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting.  
-Update on possible zoning violation for property located at 13554 114th St., Center Junction.
9:30 a.m.-Amy Picray, Treasurer - Present for review and approval the Treasurer's Semi-Annual  and Quarterly Investment Reports.  
9:45 a.m.-Derek Snead, Engineer
-General update on matters related to road maintenance and projects. No action.
10:00 a.m.-Budget discussion, including, but not limited to, the following budget related topics (possible action for budget preparation purposes on any of the listed items):
- Proposed salary increases in the various departments.
- Expenses to consider for placement in the capital projects reserve, including further discussion of the use of other financing options for various projects.
- Other budget proposals to include, or adjust, in the FY17 budget proposal and/or FY16 re-estimated budget proposal.
End of meeting-Various committee reports from the Board of Supervisors, including a schedule of upcoming meetings, if any.
-Items to be placed on the agenda for future Board meetings.
-Public comment period regarding items not listed on the agenda.
-Motion to adjourn.
     The agenda for the weekly Board of Supervisors' meeting is posted on the Board of Supervisors' page on the Jones County web-site:  at least 24 hours prior to the meeting.
     The deadline to submit items for the agenda is typically 2 p.m. on the Friday prior to the meeting. The agenda may be revised with at least 24 hours notice; the revised agenda will be posted and emailed in a manner similar to the original agenda.
