     The Jones County Board of Supervisors welcome public input at their meetings. The public will be provided an opportunity to comment on specific agenda items during the time the item is listed on the agenda. A public comment period is provided at the end of the meeting for items not listed on the agenda.
9:00 a.m.-Janine Sulzner, Auditor
-Approve the minutes of the May 24, 2016 meeting.
-Approve claims.
-Action to approve liquor license renewal for The Grove; and to approve a beer permit for Ruzicka's Meat Processing, Inc. for the Midwest Hillclimb events.
-Action to place on file manure management plans and/or updates from Cass-Way Farms, Inc. for a facility in Section 18 of Cass Township; MCM Pork LLC for a facility in Section 33 of Oxford Township, and from M & M Norman LLC for a facility in Clinton County with manure application in Jones County.
-Action to approve program contracts between Jones County, the Iowa Department of Human Services, and Jones County DECAT; and to approve the Employer of Record contract with Jones County DECAT for FY17.
-General update on various facility related matters. No action.
-General update on various county administrative matters, if needed. No action.
9:15 a.m.-Michele Lubben, Land Use Administrator - public hearing regarding requests to rezone a portion of a parcel in Section 16 of Lovell Township from A-Agricultural to P-Public, to rezone parcels in Section 5 of Washington Township from R-Residential to A-Agricultural, and to rezone a parcel in Section 16 of Fairview Township from R-Residential to C-1 Commercial.
-Approve the first consideration of Jones County, Iowa Ordinance 2016-06, an ordinance amending the zoning map in Chapter 3, Jones County Zoning Ordinance, of Title VI - Property & Land Use, of the Jones County Code of Ordinances.
-Possible suspension of the provisions of Iowa Code Section 331.302(6) which requires three considerations of an ordinance prior to passage.
-Discussion of agenda topics and possible dates for a joint meeting with the Planning & Zoning Commisson and Board of Adjustment.
9:30 a.m.-Sherri Hunt, Cedar/Jones Early Childhood Iowa - present for approval the Jones County DECAT Board's recommendation to hire a new CPPC (Community Partnerships for Protecting Children) Coordinator.
9:45 a.m.-Dusty Embree, Wapsipinicon Trail Committee - action to authorize the issuance of a request for proposals (RFP) for engineering services for the proposed Wapsipinicon Trail project.
10:00 a.m.-Lisa Mootz, Information Technology Coordinator - Discuss re-design of the county web-site, and installation of wireless internet service at the Broadway Place Annex. No action.
10:15 a.m.-Mark Bray - discuss invoice received for gravel.  Possible action.
10:30 a.m.-Derek Snead, Engineer
-Update on the schedule for application of surface stabilization product.
-General update on matters related to road maintenance and projects. No action.
End of meeting-Various committee reports from the Board of Supervisors, including a schedule of upcoming meetings, if any.
-Items to be placed on the agenda for future Board meetings.
-Public comment period regarding items not listed on the agenda.
-Motion to adjourn.
