The Jones County Conservation Board has two rental cabins located at Central Park.These cabins are located on the campground side of Central Park and overlook the lake. They provide a great opportunity for those who would like to camp but don’t want to worry about the wind and rain.  The West Cabin has windows and the East Cabin has a window in the door and a skylight window.


The cabins are available for rent from April 15th - October 15 (Dates may be adjusted based on weather.)


Each cabin includes electricity, a ceiling fan, a futon or sofa sleeper, a bunk bed with a single bunk on top and a queen bed below,  table with bench seating, armoire for storage, night stand, a dorm sized refrigerator, small microwave, broom and dust pan, picnic table, and fire pit with grill.  Each cabin can sleep up to 5 people.  A water hydrant is nearby.  Users need to provide their own bedding, personal items, service wear, cooking utensils, and cleaning supplies. 

East Cabin and West Cabin



Thursday – Sunday:
$35 for the first night.

$30 for each additional night. 

(2 night minimum rental required on weekends.)

Also include a 10% hotel/motel tax on each night.


Sunday – Wednesday:
$30 for the first night. $25 for each additional night.

Also include a 10% hotel/motel tax on each night.


Reservations may be made after the first of the year for that calendar year by calling the Jones County Conservation Administrative Office at (563)487-3541 ext.1

Reservations should be made at least 3 days in advance.
